Reggie Azwar is a Director and Editor based on Gadigal land, creating experimental films that explore themes of nostalgia, belonging, and the Asian diaspora. She is a graduate from UTS studying a Bachelor of Communications Majoring in Media Arts and Production.

Reggie draws on her own life experience as being a 2nd gen Immigrant as the theme that underlies much of her work. Rooted in personal experiences and meaningful conversations with those in her circle, her work exudes a shared sense of understanding and relatability.

Reggie made her debut with 'In Search Of The White Deer', commissioned by the Blacktown Arts Council and later selected for the AIDC Fresh Cuts Program in 2024. She works across experimental, narrative and commercial projects, and has edited for Powerhouse, Lululemon and July. Reggie draws on her experience as a second-generation immigrant, with a practice grounded in personal storytelling and shaped by collaboration, lived experience, and a strong sense of cultural identity.
